Order of Service Cards or Booklets have been used at funerals for years to ensure that guests are informed on the timeline of the day’s proceedings. However, they do not solely serve as guides. The Order of Service can be designed to be a thoughtful, intimate and personal way to commemorate and celebrate the life of a loved one. 

Whether you’ve been nominated by family members or have volunteered yourself, organising the creation of these types of documents is by no means an easy task. Here are some of the usual things we’d need from you: 
  • A selection of photos of the deceased
  • Personal messages for the front and back of the document. This usually involves a welcome message at the front and a thank you message at the back
  • The date/time of the funeral and details of the event
  • Any readings, hymns or songs due to take place on the day

We can add this information to templates which we’ve used for years. Although, if you’d like something more customised, our fantastic team of in-house designers can help you create a completely bespoke order of service design for a more personalised touch. Once the design has been finalised, we will print the order of service documents on 160GSM matt paper and can either deliver them to your door or you can collect them from our print shop in Edinburgh.
